Message From The Race Director

Well this season is shaping up a lot better than last. Here is a list of all the Yeti race venues and how much snow they have already. To the right is a recently taken picture of Mt. Washington.
  • Mt. Washington - 217 cm base
  • Silver Star - 110 cm base
  • Mount Seymour - 215 cm base
  • Sun Peaks - 91 cm at mid mountain
  • Cypress Mountain - 226 cm at lodge
  • Whistler Mountain - 162 cm base
And this is just the beginning!

This past month the Yeti ran a promotion for whoever signed up in the month of December would go into a random draw to win a pair of Atlas Dual Tracs. The winner of those Atlas Dual Tracs is Lana Allen of Abbotsford. Congratulations Lana!

January Registration Promotion

This month the Yeti is drawing the Airboard. Anyone that signs up for the Yeti in the month of January has a chance to win this great new winter toy. Airboards are amazingly controllable! Lying on your stomach helmet first on a cushion of air, you take every curve as if you’re flying. The ribbed underside of the board tracks the snow letting you control your direction by simply shifting your weight. This close to the ground, the speed is all the more exhilarating! Brake by carving the Airboard sideways. The Airboard is also portable, it folds up into a small, light pack for carrying on your back. Weighing only six pounds, The Airboard is easily carried to the depths of the backcountry or the top of a mountain peak. The lightweight hand pump inflates the Airboard in about three minutes. So now you can snowshoe in and Airboard out! For more information on the Airboard visit www.airboard.com.
