Some new things have developed since the newsletter went out yesterday so I thought that I would bring everyone up to speed. Location for the Awards ceremony has now changed to Taylor's Crossing Normally for our race at Seymour and for the Yeti Ascent we hold our awards ceremony at Seymour's Pub. Last year we experienced more families coming out and the pub does not allow children. We just finalized to have our awards at Taylor's Crossing in North Vancouver. There is lots of parking, the food is awesome and children are ALLOWED! It is because of more and more children we have coming out that we are going to change our awards for every local race to Taylor's Crossing. Click here to see a location map. Everyone will get a FREE bottle of Sleemans (children not included) and Taylor's has offered up a couple of great Yeti Specials: Burger and Beer - $12 Pizza and Beer - $12 When you go there after the event make sure that you stay on the restaurant side and say you want the Yeti special of either one of the above. Pre-registration for this event closes at Midnight tonight so if you're thinking about doing this race, then save some money and sign up today! The weather forecast is looking great so far they're calling for a blue bird day (sunny and clear). Don't miss out on this great event!
