Hi Snowshoers!
First off I would like to apologize for how late this newsletter is, I have had some computer and email issues for the last little while and they are all now finally fixed so thanks for your patience. Secondly I would like to thank everyone that came out to take part in any or all of this years Yeti Snowshoe Series. We had great growth this season due to great word of mouth and participants introducing it to their friends. The Cypress event was great despite all the rain that didn't let up for the entire day. Way to go to everyone who braved the rain that day, I heard from a lot of racers that it was refreshing and it didn't really bother them. I think that we all know what the weather can be like here on the Wet Coast, you either have to except it and go out and do what you plan on or sit inside and miss out on a lot of great adventures. Thanks to all the volunteers who came out to the Cypress Race and were out in the rain form early in the am to the finish of pack up, we can't do this race without you!
Congratulations to all the top winners, overall series points and race results were posted on the Monday after the event. Pictures will be posted shortly; my camera had a major malfunction from being in the rain all day. I got some great shots from the start to about mid way through and then things got pretty foggy, lots of condensation in the lens! Keep that in mind when you are going through them. If you have pictures you would posted please send them in.
