Message From The Race Director

Hey all you Yeti racers and potential Yeti participants: This is what it all comes down to, the final Yeti event of the season at the world famous Whistler/Blackcomb. Whether you have participated in one Yeti or in the entire Yeti series, you definitely don't want to miss this one!

 The Peak Zone on Whistler

Well I have some good news and some bad news

The Bad News: The bad news is that there is not enough snow to run the race out of the village.

The Good News: The good news is that the Yeti has gotten permission from Whistler/Blackcomb to run this event in the alpine as there is plenty of new snow. Normally the gondola ride is almost $30 and they are giving Yeti participants a discounted rate of $15/person.

If you have a season's pass there will be no extra charge.
If you have a comp pass from a previous race you will only have to pay $15 for the gondola ride.

This will be the most epic snowshoe event of the year. Participants will be in areas normally restricted to snowshoers and the scenery is breathtaking!

Take advantage of pre-registration prices and sign up before Friday at midnight.

EVENT - $30 for pre-registration and $40 day of.
SNOWSHOE RENTAL - $10 pre-registration and $15 day of.
GONDOLA RIDE - $15

THE ULTIMATE SNOWSHOERS GRAND PRIZE

This will be the final draw prize consisting of head to toe snowshoe gear that is provided by Coast Mountain Sports. Here is a list of what someone will win.

DAY OF REGISTRATION WILL BE AT THE GARIBALDI LIFT CO. IN WHISTLER VILLAGE.

Registration will open at 10:00am and close at 11:30 sharp, as everyone has to load the gondola at the same time. Please don't be late or you won't get to participate!



POST RACE AWARDS WILL BE HELD IN THE ROUNDHOUSE AT THE TOP OF WHISTLER.
