Race Details
Date: Saturday, February 27, 2010
Location: Mount Seymour
Registration Deadline: Pre-Registration ends: Wednesday February 24 at midnight.
Day of race registration is also offered but will be an additional $10.

Directions: Only 1/2 hour from downtown Vancouver. Heading west on Hwy. #1, cross the Second Narrows Bridge, take the 3rd exit (#22) onto Mount Seymour Parkway and follow the signs to Provincial Park. Turn left at Mount Seymour Road (at Mohawk Station). 15 minutes up the road.
Check-in & Race Day Registration:

5K - 8am - 9:30am 

10K - 8am - 11:30am    

Registration will be held in the Whiskey Jack Room in the Main Building, there will be signage indicating location.

Start Time:

 5k Sport Course - starts at 10am 

10k Snow Run - starts at 12pm

*In order to qualify for the Canadian National Champs or the Worlds you must be registered for the 10k Snow Run* 

Distance: 5km Sport Course and 10km SnowRun
Terrain: Cat track, single track, powder sections, hiking trails, hills and awesome viewpoints.
Refreshments: Energy Drink, fruit, bagels, cookies and much more. You won't leave hungry.
Washrooms: Parking lot level.
Parking: There will be First Aid at the finish line and also as the course sweep. We will be able to access anyone on course in the event of an emergency.

Spectators: Spectators are welcome to come out and cheer everyone on. The best place to view is the start/finish area.
Awards/Prizing: This year things will be a little different due to transportation issues around the Olympics but we are working on this now and will more than likely be holding post race awards ceremony at Mt. Seymour
Snowshoe Rentals: The Yeti has snowshoes available to rent for all races. Click here for details.

Results: Will be posted shortly after the race.
Kids Race: Entry is free for children under 10 with paid adult entry. Each racer receives a race number, a pair of snowshoes to use for the race, and a picture with the Yeti. Each participant must register on race day morning and a parent/guardian must sign a waiver.
